Hey, relistening to your podcasts for the third time. Interesting piece
of trivia: Jenny's character was supposed to be called Nikki, but that's
what they called Nicholas Brendon on set and Joss thought would get
confusing, so they changed it. Also, Jenny was supposed to be a lot more
of a techno-pagan, but Robia LaMorte didn't want to go that much into
the black magic because of her religious beliefs.

Hello folks, lovely podcast. I am looking forward to more episodes.

Though "I Robot, You Jane" was indeed cheesy in its execution (especially with the dialogue coming from the computer-nerd characters -- "If you're not jacked in, you're not alive!"), I actually rather liked it. I didn't so much pay attention to the "z0mg, Internet People are potential creeps!" theme so much as the "things get weird when magic intersects with technology" theme (which is explored in much greater depth in Season 4). I liked the weird juxtaposition of the flashback to the demon binding ritual and the act of scanning the "bound" demon-containing text into the computer.

Here is a strange piece of trivia my wife found out and that was Robia LaMorte (Jenny Calendar) is some sort of "Born Again" Christian that goes around the country and speaks to churches. My wife worked at a small print shop here in OKC a year ago when she had to make a flyer for a church that was going to have Robia speak at it. We found that amusing.

She also toured with Prince too. Here is her IMdB page for more fun facts on this actor: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0478750/bio

Keep up the good works!

Hello all, this is AthenaMuze from yet another Buffy podcast (see my website(I know both Tabz and Alyrenee have contacted you too)). Love your show, I only wish it came out more regularly (and often). I also wanted to mention something you may have missed. Someone mentioned feeling odd about there being magical monks around. I have one word for you. DAWN. You know, the little sister that was a mystical key but then created by monks as Buffy's little sister? Also let us not forget the demon monks we encounter in S3 of Angel... Anyhow, keep up the great work and I can't wait for more!

Hi Jason, Kathleen and Troy, I have been listening to your podcast since the first episode and I absolutely love you guys. I love listening to yall because it's exactly how it is when i sit around with my friends talking about Buffy. Your podcast is fast becoming one of my favorites and I get sad when there's not a new one every time i update my podcasts.

Anyway, just wanted to say that, and also say that I agree that this episode is really cheesy. I literally cringe watching some parts of it now. But, you guys forgot to mention the one part of this episode that makes it all worth it, and that's the final scene when Buffy and Xander are trying to cheer Willow up. Buffy says they just need to face it, they will never have happy, healthy relationships while living on the Hellmouth and they laugh and then look really depressed when they realize it's true.

It's funny but it's so sad because it turns out to be all too true. Anyhow, love the show and keep em coming. You guys rock.
