Yay! You are back with more. Great episode guys. I love when I am commenting out loud, as if trying to remind you of something you missed in what you are saying, and then one you mentions it. Always makes me feel as if I am part of the show and it happened several times this time around. Look forward to the next one, I just hope it’s not more than a month again.

On the third page of “How To Write A TV Series” somewhere it should say that a third person should mention, with finality, that dolphins are not fishes, and although they are mammals, the correct term is “Porpoise.”
I love how you point out that Xander is the only one in this episode to actually face his fear. Because as everyone knows, Xander is infamous for taking 5 steps back for every step forward he takes in terms of his confidence.
Thanks for the great episode!

Sorry– I’m commenting as I listen…
I’m truly surprised that nobody mentioned how ironic it is that the master says “A dream is a wish your heart makes” when you think that in order to use and understand that reference, he would have had to sit down and watch Disney’s “Cinderella”.

Ahhh two things..
I have done my homework! Yay me and my self-informedness! Woot. So dolphins and porpoises are not the same. I am not neessarily completely wrong as they are both in the same family of mammals, however it is a common misconception. Porpoises do not have a long nose, and have dome shaped teeth, as well as being much smaller than dolphins. I learn something new all the time. Gee.
And it occurred to me just now what an interesting back story it would be to discover that the reason The Master knows about CINDERELLA, is if he really ATE Hans Christian Andersen and developed a strange fascination for his writing afterward… just a thought…

Sorry, just had to point out that the whole “nasty flesh bat” part of the segment nearly resulted in my being late for work due to convulsive laughter. Despite the fact that this wasn’t one of my fave episodes, you managed to make it one of my favorite podcast reviews - well done. (PS the shaken 12 year old syndrome comments were equally brilliant.)
