YAY!!!! You’re back. I was so missing you guys. Just yesterday (literally) I was posting in twitter that I wondering when we were going to get another Watchercast (and hoping you hadn’t PodFaded). And you come back with a great episode. Good job guys. I so look forward to the next season.
Yay a new episode. I’ve been waiting for this! I just started listening to you about 2 weeks ago, and I’m hooked. Listening to you now. Yay Buffy!
I heard the comment about how chessy it was to play the Buffy theme toward the end of the episode. I have heard a few interviews with Joss, and it wasnt known at that point if Buffy was coming for a second season. So the the feeling was, if this is the end Lets go out with a bang….
Rewind and watch the season again with this little slice of trivia.
Mark Metcalf played Neidermeyer in the 1978 film Animal House.
Now we can all scream in unison “Master! DEAD!”
Sorry. Does anyone understand the word “rewind” as a video reference anymore?
Holy shit, Mojo! You’re KIDDING me! I can’t believe I didn’t know that before!?!
He totally should have told Buffy that she was worthless and weak.
“Tell me Slayer, WHAT DO YOU WANNA DO WITH YOUR LIFE?!!”
rather off topic, but im listening to all the episodes of you guys again, its something i do every so often, and you mentioned the jetwolf’s top 100 buffy moments thing, so i just went to it (though i remember seeing it before, probably the first time i heard that ep) but by the top 10 i was just in tears! especially #2!! and then i always just lose it at #1
but beyond that, yaaaaaay buffy, you guys are really great and always make me laugh, though im glad someone set straight the buffy/angel/sex/mansion/factory dilemna you were having, cos i was yelling at my ipod when you guys were talking about it, but i guess it would be hard when you’re on the spot like that.
and now back on topic
i loved when they did the theme near the end of prophecy girl, it really kicked in well and put you in the mood for a great end fight, sucked nuts but how they just cut it off
I just wanted to drop a line saying how much I’ve been enjoying this. It’s really fabulous. I’ve been listening to it on my iPod on the subway in the mornings. Lots of weird looks when I start cracking up on the downtown F train. Heh.
Anyhow, thanks for the great podcast!
Really enjoying the in depth look guys. Keep up the good work!
Just wanted to say I just listened to all of your podcast and must say they are better then the other ones that itunes has. Keep up the good work. Look foward to the new ones!!!
Hi! I love you podcast and Im really looking forward to hear you talk about all the other seasons!
I’ve been thinking about something:
In Prophecy Girl, Angel couldnt save Buffys life because he has no breath, but Spike can smoke? And Spike didnt smoke when he was human, so he started smoking after he became a vampire and that without breathing? I’d love to hear your thoughts about that.
(I’m from Sweden so my english is not as god as I wished it would be. Sorry!)
Hey, when are you guys going to set up a regular message board?
The people demand it!
Oh, hey, one other thing, I posted a chronological list of links to Bufy-related articles at Salon.com over at GeeksOn.com. The post itself explains its purpose. http://www.geekson.com/forums/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5556
HILARIOUS that someone mentions Cleveland offhand as a place to go to college, when we find out in Season 3 that there’s a Hellmouth in Cleveland as well
