Hey…welcome back! Jason, There is a hydroelectric dam in Sunnydale. Don’t Riley(when he comes back in season 6…”As you were”) and Buffy go there to find that beastie that Spike aka “The Doctor” is involved with? You know, he’s got the eggs and Riley is all Commando. Buff and Riley rappel down dam wall…remember. So yeah, Sunnydale has it all.

  • Littlehippie:

I just finished watching Buffy for the first time this week. Man what a fantastic series. This was the only Buffy-centric podcast out there that looked remotely new/maintained. Glad to see this is still being pumped out. Already started watching the series again. 4 days since I finished the show, and I’m on disc 2 of season 2. Whooo!!!! Keep it up. ~ littlehippie

  • Ulrikke:

Great episode! Btw, am I the only one who laughs at Xander’s “Wear something trashy … er” not because of the line, but because what Cordy was wearing was rather far from trashy? Lol, that just always seemed funny to me. :p

Anyway, I love you guys! You make me laugh so much! I wish I had friends like you to discuss my Buffy love with (sadly no one I know cares about tv – let alone Buffy – the way I do), but listening to this podcast sure makes up for some of it. :)

  • Troy:

Ulrikke, I totally thought exactly that same thing! Cordy had on a tee-shirt with a sweater tied around her neck!…pretty far from Trashy. And…you don’t have any friends who care about TV?! You must not be from America? :-)

And Littlehippie, a season and a half in 4 days?!….that is a Kathleen rate of watchage! She can plow through a series in a weekend! Nice to see that amount of dedication!

  • jords:

Yay! You’re back! I missed you guys!

Hands Down: Xander’s line about linoleum? Best line EVER. (It’s funny ’cause it’s true)

I would LOVE to know what you all think of Dollhouse?? I thought the pilot was good (it was a pilot, which are usually the weakest part of a series) but this week’s episode was MIND-BLOWINGLY AWESOME.

  • Littlehippie:

Agreed. The pilot was ok but the new ep friggin rocked my face off.

  • jords:

Yay Littlehippie – I’m glad you enjoyed “The Target” as well!

Kathleen, I was relistening to the “Innocence” section and wanted to say, you nailed it, as usual. That second where Buffy crumples, after Angelus kisses her and high-tails it from the school? She totally broke, and I’m not sure she’ll ever manage to put those pieces back together. We’ve seen it in her other relationships, we’ve seen it in the comic: Buffy really thinks relationships need pain to work. And that makes MY heart break for her.

  • Ulrikke:

Troy – ha, no I’m not from America. I’m Danish. And well, lots of people care about tv, just not to the same degree that I do. You know, going on forums, listening to podcasts, watching a show more than once etc. :D

And btw, as a bi girl I have to agree with Jason (at least I think he was the one who said it) on the Cordy nose wiggle thing. I’ve never noticed it before, but it’s SO cute. So you’re not alone in that! :p
