I did contact Apple Care and spoke with a few people and Apple FedExed me a box to send the MacBook Pro back to them, pre-paid all handled. They would run some tests and if the problem was in coverage of the known Nvidia issue they would fix it no charge. If it wasn’t they would let me know what the issue was and how much it would cost to fix it. Within 48 hours after I had FedEx pick up the box I got an email that my repair was complete. A day or so later the MacBook comes back to me with a new logic board and $0 cost for the fix!

Now that we have it back we’re going to be recording a double episode. That’s right, The Becoming part I & II all in one super sized episode. We’re going to be recording tomorrow night (Tuesday July 7th), we’re going to start watching the episodes around 7pm EST. As we’re getting setup I’ll twitter and update facebook. We’ll should have everything setup to ‘Live Stream’ the recording session. We may even have open chat at the end of the recording for anyone who wants to gab about season 2 of Buffy.
