Where Angel lived timeline:
Angel and Buffy got groiny in his apartment.
He turned into Angelus then moves into the factory with Spike and Dru.
Giles burns down factory.
Angelus finds a mansion for the 3 of them to live in.
Buffy kabobs him in the mansion and when he returns from the hell dimension, he appears in the mansion and stays there until he moves to LA
@Laura: A HA! I thought so. That’s how I remembered it.
Thought I should give you guys a heads up since Amazon is running a sale right now, and (along with other Fox 1st seasons DVDs for 55% off) Angel 1st Season and Buffy 1st season are both on sale for 17.99. And it looks like they will be running a Season 2 sale on Fox titles May 22nd, so could be a good time for some listeners to grab Buffy or Angel first and second seasons for cheap. During their last big sale on Buffy and Angel back around Christmas, Angel Season 1 wasn’t included.
Anyway, the show is still going great. I’m actually making my way through the seasons for the third time (Buffy DVDs ripped to video iPod make cardio at the gym bearable). It’s so strange going back to this first season and seeing how less real some of the characters feel, especially Giles. The first time through the series, the changes the characters made seemed very natural, but going back to the start after seeing Season 7 such a short time ago makes this first season very jarring.
Keep up the good work!
If you do a video episode you will need some eyecandy…like ME!
lol
Hi–I just started listening to your podcast a few weeks ago
after stumbling across it on iTunes. I’m a huge Buffy fan and I like
any excuse to watch the show (this will be my sixth or seventh time
through the series, although some of the previous times start out as
“I’m just going to watch my favorites,” and that pretty much means
every episode except for I Robot You Jane and Inca Mummy Girl).
Anyway, I’ve gotten into the habit of listening to your podcast and
then watching the episode for all the things you point out, which is
great fun. Listening to your commentary is often like listening to
what goes on in my head when I watch Buffy–it’s nice to know that
I’m not the only one with the crazy.
Come on people. You can’t remember where angel lived? Your geek cred is slipping.
