I Robot, You Jane
An evil demon called Moloch with the power of persuasion is accidentally scanned into the school’s computer system. Moloch begins to take over the Internet thereby gaining the power to wreak havoc on the world. At the same time, Moloch disguises himself as Willow’s on-line boyfriend – Malcolm.

Angel

Buffy and Angel are chased by vampires and hide out at Buffy’s place. There, they kiss and Angel reveals himself to be a vampire. When Buffy later hunts him, she discovers that he actually has a soul. Angel proves his loyalty to Buffy and to the greater good by killing his old comrade and sire, Darla.

The Pack
While enduring the annual field trip to the zoo, Xander and several other students enter the quarantined Hyena pen and become possessed by the spirit of the wild animals. Buffy notices that Xander is acting different, more aggressive and mean, but she must figure out what happened and how to reverse it before something terrible happens.

Buffy goes out on a date with the much sought-after Owen, but a vampire-related emergency arises, forcing her to take him along to the local mortuary. Meanwhile, the Master’s brethren await the coming of the Anointed One, who Buffy believes she has killed… but she’s in for a big (or rather small) surprise.

- Giles is knocked out for the second time
- The Buffy house was originally shot on location in Torrance CA. Later the entire house, interiors and front and back exteriors were built on a sound stage. If you compare some of the shots in this episode with the later episodes you’ll see the dinning room seems to move.
- First time a vampire is dusted and leaves something behind.
- Geoff Meed, the ‘Pork & Beans’ vampire, also played Mag, one of the biker-demons in season six’s Bargaining, Part One and Two.
